Privacy policy

Version of 1 November 2026. This is a translation for convenience; the Russian version is the governing one.

1. Who processes the data

The personal data operator is HW Labs (the Operator). Contact the Operator about personal data at support@hw-connector.ru. This policy follows Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27.07.2006 “On Personal Data”.

2. What data we receive

• at sign-up: email, name, company name, phone (if given), password — stored only as an irreversible hash;
• while you use your account: sign-in date and time, which files were downloaded and when, the IP address of each download;
• cookies: technical session and remembered sign-in cookies (30 days) and the site language. The site uses no third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

3. Why

• to create an account and give access to it;
• to review requests for access to the distribution files and provide them;
• to send service emails: email confirmation, password reset, decisions on requests;
• to answer support requests and protect the site from abuse.

We do not send newsletters or advertising.

4. Legal basis and retention

Data is processed on the basis of the consent given at sign-up by ticking the corresponding box. Data is kept while the account exists and is deleted within 30 days after consent is withdrawn or deletion is requested.

5. Disclosure to third parties

The Operator does not sell or disclose personal data to third parties except as required by Russian law. Emails are sent through the Operator’s mail server.

6. Security

The site works over HTTPS only, passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, and only the Operator’s administrators have access to user data.

7. Your rights

You can find out what data about you is stored, correct it, withdraw consent and delete your account — write to support@hw-connector.ru from the address used at sign-up. We reply within 10 business days.

8. Changes

The Operator may update this policy; a new version takes effect when published on this page.
